Christian Conferences offer a wonderful opportunity to gather with other Christians and dive deeply into discipleship, faith and worship. There are a host of Christian conferences in Australia each year.

There are women’s conferences, men’s conferences, discipleship conferences, evangelism conferences, leadership conferences and youth conferences. There are Christian conferences in many distinct parts of the country – some that draw participants from across the land, and others that are more regionally oriented. Some conferences offer the option to participate on-line if you can’t make it in-person.

In this article we’ll provide a roundup of just some of the major Christian conferences in Australia in 2024. Each will offer a unique opportunity to learn, grow and worship. Compass is the annual student leaders conference offered by Australian Christian Schools, oriented at emerging year 12 leaders and inviting a reflection on how faith, life and leadership connect. NTE (or “National Training Event” if you prefer the full, non-hip title) is a project of Australia Fellowship of Evangelical Students, inviting university students and young adults from across the country for a week of transformative worship and training at a Christian youth conference like no other. NTE is held in Canberra, after Uni wraps for the year – what a way to kick start Christmas holidays! It’s all about being transformed by the gospel, trained in the gospel and sent with the gospel.

The Download is a 7-day intensive dive into what it means to hold a Christian worldview. A project developed by the Australian Christian Lobby and the Lachlan Macquarie Institute, The Download is for 18-25 year-olds.  Get equipped with the truth you need to take your faith into the real world.

The Global Leadership Summit is possibly the best-known Christian leadership conference on the planet. Children’s and Youth Ministry Conferences

A ministry conference is an ideal setting to develop your skills to lead in ministry with children, families and young people. This set of 2024 offerings combines time-honoured techniques with new mission insights. Take a look at what’s coming up:

Amplify is Australia’s largest children, family and youth ministry conference in partnership with SU Australia. Backed by a multi-denominational consultancy team, it has been created to inspire, equip and resource those who serve in children’s, youth and family ministries in churches and in schools (RI and SRE). Offered in person, in regional hubs and online, Amplify for 2024 is complete – but it will be back early 2025, and it’s not to be missed. In the meantime, keynote session videos are available online from earlier Amplify events.
