Why Church?

We believe that God created us, and loves us. God’s design for us is to live in community, and God’s design for the Christian faith is to share it in the richness of a local Christian community, a local church. Local Christian communities are groups of people who worship God together, who share the good news of the gospel, who serve their communities in love, and who grow in healthy relationships with one another. The local church is a vital part of God’s plan for you, for us, and for our world.

Finding a place to explore faith, to be nurtured in church community as you grow into living a Christian life isn’t always easy – and that’s why we’re here to help. Looking for a Local Christian Community or Church?

There are lots of reasons you might be looking for a local church to call home. Firstly, Australians are a mobile people – 20% of us move house in any five year period – so we’re always looking to connect in our new communities. Secondly, sometimes life can change, and as we move through different stages of life, the best Christian community for us to participate in might change – maybe its differing family needs, or new life rhythms, or emerging life challenges.

How do I know which Church is right for me?

The right Christian community for you might depend on a range of factors, from the shape of your family, to your stage of life, your preferences for music and worship, and even your theological beliefs.
